First competition of the year

Last-minute entry for the Dawra Spring Show with Yah’ri – and it was so worth it!

Yah’ri was super steady and we truly enjoyed every class.

Hunter under Saddle (Dawra): 1st place 🥇

Hunter under Saddle (Allbreed): 1st place 🥇

Showmanship: a bit messy… 3rd place 🥉

Pleasure: 1st place 🥇 — even managed to collect some nice canter strides• Horsemanship: 1st place 🥇 with 74 points

Ranch Riding (Allbreed): 2nd place 🥈 with 68.5 points — same score as 1st place but 'lost' on the canter transition

Ranch Riding (Dawra): 2nd place 🥈 with 69.5 points — just half a point behind

Hard to believe that Yah’ri was still struggling with a bad cough this past winter and had lost so much fitness… But we worked through it together, and what a result!

So proud! On to the next show!
