Crabbet
Crabbet is one of the most famous and certainly the oldest bloodlines within the Arabs.
Origin of crabbet bloodline:

The Crabbet Stud Farm, was founded before the end of the 19th century by Lady Ann and Sir Wilfred Scawen Blunt. They were one of the first to buy desert Bedouin horses and import them to England since 1878. The horses were selected on character, type and utility. The Arabians from this breeding were called Crabbets. The stud itself unfortunately no longer exists as Lady Wentworth had no successor, but the influences of this stud are worldwide, there is almost no Arabian horse which does not carry Crabbet blood.

Crabbet breeding prioritized solidity and good conformation over looks, and so these crabbet arabs may lack some of the more overly elegant features that are today considered hallmarks of the Arabian breed. However, this focus makes them excellent riding horses and well-suited for long distances.
In summary: A natural athlete, the Crabbet Arabian is healthy, a good mover, athletic and possesses a solid temperament, making them highly sought after for competitions under saddle.
Crabbets in the Netherlands: The first Crabbet Arabian was imported from England to the Netherlands in 1924. In the early days of the Arabians in the Netherlands, many crabbets were bought from England, currently there is only a small part of crabbet Arabains left in the Netherlands. Crabbets are nowadays referred by blood percentages. 100% Crabbet horses are becoming rarer, in England, Sweden, Australia and America they are still there.

Although the crabbet is an old line that is less popular these days as there is more targeted breeding according to the show standard, it is still a line of interest. The crabbet horses are known for their strong athletic build and willing to work character, which makes them perform very well in the sport.
